This is the only SA accredited Southern African Fibromyalgia Support and Education Network , chaired and researched bi-monthly by Sharon Levin. It has enabled so many sufferers and their friends and families to become more empowered and enlightened about this condition and all the functional medical illnesses that are associated with Fibromyalgia or are set apart from it.

Many people still enquire re -SUPPORT GROUPS that I ran for 9 years both in Gauteng and the Cape, monthly. Sadly, these are now redundant as the co-ordinating helpers became too involved, too ill to continue mentoring groups and having the brilliant professionals who were so willing to lecture. Life just has to go on without support meetings (bar the one in Gauteng 1 Saturay afternoon a month in Orchards JHBd) run by the Support Network of Southern Africa without the resiliance and wellness of volunteers.
With the loss to the Network of my 2 FM assistants, the amount of time, effort work alone, was a path I could not travel alone and still write, research, lecture and practice privately.
Thus Newsletters and Patient visits face-to-face, or email country and SKYPE worldwide contact via this site only for constant support and help is available to all who wish to be a part of 'getting well through knowledge and self-empowerment'.
